Party on the Boulevard will be held February 2, 2019 at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show Grounds in Mercedes, Texas- the perfect location to showcase local restaurants, artisans, and musicians! The festival runs from 11:00 am– 9:00 pm.

While planning your festival calendar, keep the following points in mind when reaching your decision about participating in Party on the Boulevard (POTB).

  • POTB is a great place to showcase your craft or specialty food to folks from Texas and across the country and as far away as Canada. Marketing by POTB will be publicized through many local, regional, and social media sources.
  • POTB is a free event. There is no charge for participants to visit your booth and purchase products.
  • POTB specialty vendors’ booths will be interspersed between artisans, businesses, restaurants, and crafters in a fully covered area or along the open-air boulevard.
  • POTB vendor booth pricing can be obtained by emailing cpalacios@wthsinc.com, or click the Vendor Application button at the bottom of this page.
  • POTB booths do not include electricity, or tables and chairs. These are available for rent. You may bring your own tables, chairs, and a tent that fits in your rented spot.
  • Exhibitors must provide their own extension cords. (20 foot recommended)
  • Generators are prohibited.
  • Food handler’s permits/licenses are required for anyone selling or sampling food products.
  • Drop light for after dark is the responsibility of the vendor.
  • Sales Tax collection payments are the responsibility of each exhibitor.
  • POTB reserves the right to refuse any application.
  • POTB cannot be held accountable for the weather conditions on the day of the event. Please be aware of weather conditions and provide materials to protect your products from inclement weather. POTB WILL NOT REFUND THE COST OF VENDOR BOOTHS DUE TO POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS; NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON AFTER JANUARY 10.
  • The City of Mercedes requires a vendor permit for all vendors. The application is attached in a link below.

Applications are due no later than January 10. Booth spaces are on a first come, first serve basis and are expected to sell out quickly. Please take this opportunity to secure your space as early as possible to be included in all of our marketing efforts.
